One should think that the Bible was written for everybody to understand, but the Word of God makes it very clear that only some people will understand the Bible and the Mystery of God.
Mark 4:11 And Jesus said to them. To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsel of God, which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable.
4:12 In order they may [indeed] look and look but not see and perceive, and may hear and hear but not grasp and comprehend, lest haply they should turn again, and it [their willful rejection of the truth] should be forgiven them.
The Bible is a Mystery which are only revealed to some and therefore it is impossible for Science to explain it. In order to explain something you need insight into that very thing.The Mystery was set in there for a specific purpose, but are also there to be revealed to some.
Mark 4:22 – [Things are hidden temporarily only as a means to revelation] For there is nothing hidden except it be revealed, nor is anything [temporarily] kept secret except in order that it may be made known
23 – If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening, and let him perceive and comprehend.
24 – … The measure of [thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you – and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
That is exactly why the very next scripture says
25 – For to him who has [revelation knowledge] will more be given, and from him who has nothing [no insight into the Word of God] even what he has will be taken away by [by force].
This means that if a person has Revelation Knowledge of the Word of God, he will understand the Word, and if that person does not have any Revelation Knowledge, even the little bit that He knows will be taken away from him.
The main reason for this is that the Holy Spirit lives in those who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will teach you. If you are not born again, the Holy Spirit does not reside in you, and no revelation knowledge can be given to you.
This Mystery are explained as follows:
Col 1:26 – The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men] but which is now revealed to His holy people [the saints - The Born Again children of God].
Col 2:2 …that mystic secret of God [which is] Christ the Anointed One]
3 – In HIM all the treasures of [divine] wisdom [comprehnsive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightment are stored up and lie hidden in Him.
God longs that every person will understand and come to know this mystery. You have been given a choice according to the Word and God will never go against His own word. The choice is yours whether you will understand the mystery or not. Whether you accept jesus as your Saviour and whether you search for the revelation knowledge.
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and curses; therefore choose life that you and your descendants may live
